PRIVACY POLICY
Your face, your health and your plans are personal. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.
WHO WE ARE
This website is run by Side A Collaborative (“Side A”), the Philippine referral partner of THANYS Medical, operated by Thanis Co., Ltd., an aesthetic and anti-aging clinic in Choeng Thale, Phuket, Thailand (“THANYS”).
Side A collects your details through this site and passes them to THANYS so Dr. Best and the clinic team can review your screening and arrange your online consultation. Side A does not provide medical services. All medical assessment, advice and treatment come from THANYS.
Each of us is responsible for the personal information we hold. In the Philippines, that is governed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). In Thailand, it is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you send a quick question
Your first and last name, email, mobile number, the package you’re interested in, and your question.
When you complete the screening form

About you: full name, date of birth, email, mobile (Viber / WhatsApp), city, how you heard about us and any referral code.

Your goals: the package you’re interested in and the result you’d like.

Photos: front, left and right facial photos you choose to upload.

Health: the medical history, medicines, allergies, past treatments and other health details the form asks for.

Travel: your preferred dates and travel details.
Your facial photos and health details are sensitive personal information. We only collect them with your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box before you submit.
When you sign up for updates
Your email address, and only if you tick “Yes, send me THANYS updates.”
When you browse
Basic technical information such as device type, browser and pages visited. See section 10 for cookies.
HOW WE USE IT

To answer your questions. Basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in responding.

To screen your suitability and prepare your consultation. Basis: your explicit consent. Screening helps Dr. Best prepare. It is not a diagnosis, and only Dr. Best decides whether a treatment is right for you.

To plan your Phuket journey, including transfers and accommodation you ask us to arrange. Basis: to take the steps you’ve asked for.

To send updates on travel dates and offers. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

To keep records of referrals between Side A and THANYS. Basis: our legitimate interest in running the partnership. This record holds your name, contact details and referral status, not your photos or health details.

To meet legal obligations and protect our rights if a dispute arises.
We do not use your photos for marketing, before-and-after posts or testimonials unless you give separate written consent for that specific use.
KEEPING IT SAFE
We use encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, secure storage for photos and health details, and we don’t keep copies in personal chat apps or devices longer than needed to pass them to THANYS. If a breach ever puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it

give you a copy of it, including in a format you can take elsewhere

correct anything that’s wrong or out of date

delete it, or stop or limit how we use it

withdraw your consent at any time (this won’t affect what we already did with your consent)
Contact us using the details in section 12. We’ll reply within 3 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines, or to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee for information held by THANYS.
AGE
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.
COOKIES
We use essential cookies that make the site and forms work. With your permission, we may also use analytics cookies, such as GA4, to see which pages are useful, and advertising cookies, such as Meta Pixel, to measure our ads. You can change your choice any time through cookie settings or your browser.
CHANGES TO POLICY
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you before it applies to information you’ve already given us.
